Foster an animal Deliver supplies to foster homes Review applications and call references Help with cats housed at Petco Help out at adoption events Transport KGARL animals to and from adoption events and vet appointments Contact families that have adopted from KGARL to see how the animal is doing Fundraising Committee Set up fundraising events Solicit companies for donations
Create flyers to advertise upcoming events Place donation boxes in public places and collect money Mail out fundraising letters Volunteer at events Transport supplies to and from events Take pictures at events Write newsletter articles about events Spay/Neuter Committee Return phone calls to people that require assistance Manage the spay/neuter database and send out vouchers Advertise our spay/neuter program Grant Committee Find new grants Submit grant applications Create grant follow-up reports Publicity Committee Manage social media accounts
Assist with KGARL website
Create KGARL Newsletters Create and submit newspaper ads Call into radio stations to advertise events Create KGARL flyers, brochures, and other items Shelter Committee Take pictures of animals at the King George Shelter Contact breed rescues for animals at the shelter Post pictures of shelter animals to forums and message boards Coordinate the transfer of animals out of the pound into other rescue groups Transport animals to other rescue groups from the shelter General Help Hand out flyers Spread the word about our group Return phone calls Become an officer Have an idea?
